Welcome to all our visitors.

Our churches are open each day, at least from 10 am to 4 pm except for St Cynon’s in Fairbourne which is sometimes closed in winter months. During much of the day our churches are unattended but you are welcome to use them for personal prayer or just to enjoy the atmosphere of spiritual quiet. Do take a leaflet about the church if one is available and sign the Visitor’s Book as we like to read about those who come. And, if you can, please leave a donation in the place provided towards the upkeep of our churches.

There are two “sanctuary” churches in our Ministry Area, St Michael’s
in Llanfihangel y Pennant and the Old Church at Llangelynnin. These
historic churches are in idyllic locations and have large numbers of visitors. Llanfihangel y Pennant was the birth place of the legendary Mary Jones. There are no regular services at these two churches but occasional services are held and details are posted on their websites.

Welcome to our Church Services

At the other eight churches regular services are held each Sunday and occasional weekday services are also held at St Cadfan’s in Tywyn and St Peter’s in Aberdyfi. Services are taken by members of the Ministry Team, in rotation so that they are shared between the churches. Services are all Anglican, and bi-lingual where possible. Worshippers of all denominations are very welcome. The services at each of the seven churches for the current month can be found by clicking here for Current Services.
