Welcome to Bro Ystumanner, the Ministry Area of the Church in Wales at the southern tip of Snowdonia.

There are nine churches in the Area and we hope you will be able to visit at least one of them and join in our weekly services. All services are Anglican and bi-lingual, with English as the main language and some parts in Welsh.

The Ministry Area comprises the coast between the Mawddach and the Dyfi, the Dyfi Estuary and the Dysynni Valley with Tywyn being the focal point.

Vision Statement

Thus says the Lord, ‘Stand at the cross roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.’ Jeremiah 6:16a

Over the last year, we have been consolidating the structure of our Ministry Area. We have now registered as a Ministry Area with the Charity Commission, and find much blessing in sharing and working together in and across our churches.

You can download and read the background discussion to our Vision Statement in 'Catching The Vision'.
